I've heard this rumor and even read about this thing called intimacy. It sounds enticing... and scary.... I can't actually say I know about it first hand. I want to but I have a tendency to run from it, I guess you could say I have a love-hate relationship with a theory. But ya know, I believe that it exists, I really do. Don't know how to find it, but I do know how to be naughty and freaky!
I like to watch America's Next Top Model, not because I want to be fashion connoisseur but it is interesting to see how the industry works and watching the girls evolve. The one that just finished totally had my attention from the shear point that I really didn't want to see Melrose win. Sounds trite possibly, but she seemed so very ugly on the inside that it was mind boggling that she made it the final two. Up-tight, controlling, perfectionist freak. To me she was one of ugliest girls on the show. It says a lot about the industry that she made it so far and a lot about spin television that they probably kept her on the show to the end just to keep annoyed people like me watching. My point in the tirade is that beauty is so much more than a hot body and nice hair.
I've been trying to slowly transition to organic products for a while. Yes, it can cost a little more but that's why I've chosen to transition slowly. Not to mention that finding a replacement product you like can actually take a few tries. I can recommend Body + Soul magazine as a good reference source. Their product reviews have given me a place to start when I'm looking to try something new. Also, I usually check out the websites of the advertisers as a reference.
Or it could be East vs. West. The philosophy of treating the body as a whole being or the individual parts. There appears to be a very slow evolution to treating the whole body, even in western medicine.
